We had a fantastic turnout for our 2024 Earth Day Clean-Up Events, with volunteers from all over the city coming together to help clean Mill Creek’s sidewalks and trails! Thanks to Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek & Key Club members, Mill Creek Youth Advisory Board, Walmart team members, the Mill Creek Chamber Of Commerce, many individual volunteers, and City of Mill Creek staff!
Earth Day was about cleaning up our community and taking a significant step towards its long-term maintenance. We were thrilled to officially launch our Adopt-a-Street program in Mill Creek, a testament to our commitment to a cleaner and greener future!
Our first Adopt-a-Street partner, Scott and Michele Tenhulzen of Tenhulzen Painting & Construction Partners, set a remarkable example. They and their entire staff dedicated their time to cleaning up 9th Avenue, the street they have officially adopted to clean monthly.
