Redfellow Music Festival Returns to Bothell for Its Fifth Year

By Mill Creek View Staff

One attendee called it “the perfect nano-Woodstock,” and it is easy to see why. On Saturday, July 18, the Redfellow Music Festival returns to Starlight Meadows in rural Bothell for its fifth year, bringing an afternoon of original live music to one of the prettiest outdoor venues in the region.

The festival, hosted by the nonprofit Redfellow Foundation, has built a loyal following on a simple idea: give emerging Northwest artists a real stage and a real audience. This year’s lineup spans alt-rock, jazz, soul, pop, bluegrass, and singer-songwriter genres, with ten acts performing on the venue’s rustic outdoor stage. Featured artists include M¡SSMANAGED, Rose Peak, Standish&Co, No Monaco, Lexi Nguyen, The Wax Lips, Angelina Adams, Great American Trainwreck, Tiny Monsters, and Reji Marc.

For one of them, the day could be career-changing. A panel of judges will award a single artist or band a free eight-hour recording session at London Bridge Studios, the legendary Seattle-area studio and a top festival sponsor. Attendees are encouraged to come cheer on their favorites and be part of what could be a pivotal moment in a young artist’s career.

Gates open at 3:00 p.m. Guests can grab a burger from The People’s Burger food truck, which offers vegetarian options, or bring their own picnic meal. New this year is Dragonfly Landing, a bar tent serving local beer, wine, and icy vodka lemonades to guests 21 and over with valid ID. Blankets and low-back beach chairs are welcome. Pop-up tents and view-blocking umbrellas are not permitted, and the event prohibits drugs and firearms.

Past attendees describe an atmosphere that is hard to find at bigger festivals. “The venue is stunning, and the event was very well organized with an amazing vibe throughout,” one guest said. Another praised how the “music gently permeates the whole area,” leaving room for visiting, listening, dancing, and eating, and called the event “super comfortable and welcoming for all ages.”

Only 350 advance tickets are available, and the festival sold out in 2025, so organizers recommend buying early. Children under 12 attend free, and every ticket buyer receives a free vinyl sticker celebrating the fifth anniversary.

The Redfellow Foundation is a nonprofit organization built on the belief that Music is Medicine, dedicated to helping artists be seen, heard, followed, and discovered. This year’s festival is supported by sponsors including The People’s Burger, FX Audio Visual, London Bridge Studios, Greet Mill Creek, Starlight Meadows, Love Celebrations, Tito’s Vodka, Gatefolded, Barley POP! Brewing & Bakery, Irina Nitikin Photography, and State Farm Insurance agent Nicole Lamphier.
